A couple of inspo images from Tumblr. The last one is probably my favorite out of the mix, something about it just screams "Carpe Diem" maybe it's the sheer insanity of riding a swing above the city, or the spontaneity of doing such a thing. Anyways, it's here on my inspo's because it's an image that inspires me to seize the day; be exhilarated and enjoy the broad spectrums of life. In other words - "yolo".

CHRISTMAS // 100

HI EVERYONE! I am filled with an absolutely guilt-ridden conscience that I have not been updating the blog (Apologies - I was preparing for the pseudo zombie apocalypse) especially on such a festive month! Jokes aside, due to several frustrating events i.e. my camera being uncooperative... my tripod breaking... the unsettling affair of my grades reaching the hands of my asian parents... It's been hard to find the right time to make a post! 

However, I have finally reached my goal of reaching 100 followers before The Wallflower's first birthday! Yay! So, thank you, thank you, thank you! I am currently in Japan, Niseko, right now for the winter holiday, cocooning myself in whatever warmth I can garner, as well as indulging in Japanese junk food (Hold the weight loss resolution). 

I hope you're all having a wonderful Christmas holiday spending some quality time with loved ones or doing whatever makes you happy!

Found this snug little sweater in my mom's grotto of unworn clothes. Unfortunately, I've never been to Chicago, but I'd love to visit "Chi-town" one day. That's one of the things I dislike about sweaters or shirts with logos on them - for instance, band tees. Sure, everyone owns a generic Beatles or Rolling Stones shirt, but it's so rare that they actually listen to them (cue awkward ice breaker of "Oh hey you listen to the Rolling Stones?" "Er... no." "Oh.") Don't get me wrong, I think band tees are a great conversation starter, just so long as there's an album of theirs existing in your iTunes. I just hope no one will approach me and ask, "So how do you like Chicago?"

Contrary to what the title may allude to, I do not favor the former mentioned as a past-time, but an incredibly bad addiction to the latter. I took these photos about a week ago, back when it was still acceptable to wear tank tops, but now I can't even imagine stepping outside with bare shoulders. I just really dislike the cold. A lot. Funny fact: I actually was in the middle of a call when I was taking these, explaining the last snap of me mid-sentence. And I liked using my flannel button-down as a makeshift waist belt, I think the last time I tied my shirt like this was back in middle-school - when I thought tying a jumper around your waist made you look cool and non-chalant.
